G'day staff of Minr,
I was banned due to me using an unfair advantage whilst playing HC, which I admit to.
If you look into my account history you will be able to deduce I played the first 8-9 maps of HC legit then had a break of almost 2 years before I came back to it only a couple weeks ago. If I'm being completely honest I just had a few too many beers one night and just wanted to get HC over and done with as I'd been stuck on it for so long (whoops). I knew I was in the wrong however it was fun at the time so I just continued, I did complete big chunks of the maps legit it was mainly just the endurance legs where I had to re-do maps I cheesed my way through (I get this doesn't help my case but I just figured I'd let it be known). I know how seriously HC is taken in this community and how it undermines the amazing accomplishment of other greenies who've completed it when you have people like myself who try and cheat the system. My judgement was clouded and it won't happen again, I purely just got carried away. I know this also ruins the legitimacy of my Blue rank title and all the previous maps I completed however, if your team of staff see fit, I understand if you have to take it/the completions away. I also don't mind if you ban me from ever completing HC/ obtaining the blue rank again, as quite frankly, I enjoy Minr for reasons other than progression through ranks.

I hope you can understand that my offence was just a stupid mistake that won't ever happen again. Any response is greatly appreciated.

Hi bebb,

Thank you for appealing. You said that you primarily hacked through parts of the endurance, which is true, but you neglected to mention you also hacked through multiple other parts of hardcore; primarily the entire latter half of it. Hacking is taken very seriously on this server and to this extent it would be a relatively lengthy ban, but because you were sincere in your apology I will take your ban down from the suggested length of one year to nine months. You may reappeal 9 months from now, January 28th, 2024, at which point we will further the discussion of a potential unban.
