To whom it may concern,
I am writing to apologise for cheating while playing hardcore in hope to be unbanned. First of all, over the past year I have realised the severity of my actions and acknowledged how it was unfair to other blues and a breach of admins/mods trust.

Back when I first started HC, I had not yet understood the impact of cheating as I was still young and thought it would be fine. Now that I have aged I understand that what I did was a direct defiance of the very clearly stated rules. I cheated because seeing others complete HC maps with ease made me feel jealous and that I should’ve been able to go through it with ease too, while deciding what I should do, instead of coming to terms with the fact that I may not be on the same level as others, I turned to using a FreeCamera mod. I had already been warned by others, such as IRL friends, not to cheat when I had asked for their input but was too blinded by being seen as ‘good at the game’ to realise how wrong it was to cheat.

After being banned, there was a period of time where I didn’t know what to do with myself as minr had been a big part of my life, during that time it was finally brought to my attention that what I had so carelessly done was one of the biggest mistakes I had ever made. Being banned made me miss how much I enjoyed playing on the server and all the people that I talked to for hours on end. This made me think about how I had betrayed all of their trust and how badly it may have affected them.

Once again I am truly sorry for my actions and I am aware on how it may have hurt others, I am willing to do whatever it takes to be given a third chance and rebuild trust within the community showing how much I have matured and how sincere I am with this apology

Original green application, which resulted in a 4 month ban and a re-completion of HC under the name LittleBluBlazer

During that HC re-run, this ban occurred in Feb 2022 under the name CaptainBlu_ for cheating in HC.

So to sum it up, this is an appeal for cheating a second time on the server. @thepookabear was the banning staff member and will review your appeal as time allows.

Hi Blu,

I hope you are doing well. It is good to hear that you have realized how cheating negatively impacts our server and is unfair to other players. I appreciate you owning up to your actions. However, this was your second time being banned for hacking in HC. We try and be relatively fair with second chances, but third ones are much more difficult to come by as I'm sure you understand. That being said I am going to have to deny this appeal. The suggested appeal time for hacking is 12 months; this being your second ban I will have to double that. Please do not appeal again until February 15, 2024.
