Why do you think you should be unbanned?

The map beep has a glitch that I used and discovered unintentionally. I was having a bad run so I used /c join beep but I had just pressed the button to go into an elevator, this reset my time but then teleported me into an elevator and therefore skipped a decent amount of the map. I obviously shouldn’t have gone onto complete it but I didn’t understand that my time had been reset and just assumed that my /c join beep had glitched and so I just decided to finish the course instead. I understand that without context it looks terrible and that I should’ve thought more about what the glitch was actually doing and should have then gone onto better explain my time after achieving it when I looked back it chat to see that my time had actually been reset. I was confused and hadn’t realised I’d discovered a glitch with the map. I apologise for the issues I’ve caused especially with a non accurate time being on the leaderboard and the admins time I’ve wasted. Obviously it’s up to you whether I should be unbanned but I just wanted to explain my time here and am sorry for the confusion. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this.​

This sounds like an error on our part. I'll wait for the banning staff to review. For future reference trying to use glitch in the map to gain a faster time is also against our rules, the moment you teleported further into the map after respawning you should have reached out to staff.

Thanks for the quick reply, and yeah I should have been more attentive and reached out. I mentioned in chat about how it was glitched and that it should be wiped but didn’t know who to reach out to or what to do. Sorry for any inconveniences I’ve caused

Your explanation seems to check out for how you achieved the map time. I think I was a bit hasty to ban without realizing that the time could be achieved through exploit and given that I interpreted your reaction in chat uncharitably. For that I apologize.

But as Chillers said, you should avoid using exploits to gain an advantage in any way. I appreciate your honesty. I will unban you shortly.

Thank you very much, and no worries about the chat stuff. I wasn’t very good at communicating what happened and didn’t reach out to any mods so it’s more than fair that I was banned with all the given context. I will immediately tell any mods if I happen apon anymore glitches and again thank you for the unban
