There are different mazes, both requiring mapping and not so much. The general technique to mazes is to run through every path that you have not yet been to and ignore paths that you've already gone through. Now, there is a problem: when playing a maze with someone else without mapping, you don't know where your partner has gone through, so you can't be efficient and can follow your partner's route, wasting time. A solution to that problem could be party trails: every person who you are together in a party with will be leaving particles behind, so you can see where they have been. It would definitely be helpful to all maze enjoyers. I don't know how hard it is technically to realize or how much lag it would cause, at the end of the day, it is a suggestion, so feel free to comment.

This gives group maze solvers a massive and immediate advantage, moreso than they already have. I can't see this ever being implemented. I can only recommend better communication between you and your party members if you frequently run into this issue.
