When I first joined Minr in the frozen spawn, you knew exactly which maps to start with because in front of the warps to the different map types, there was a big board with "Recommended Starting Maps". When I rejoined Minr a couple months ago for the first time with the new spawn, the first thing I noticed about it besides from it being new was the lack of that board. While I don't know exactly how this feature would be readded, I do think it would be useful to people who just joined, and have no idea how to do more complex parkour that they might stumble upon thinking that they are better than they actually are. Some candidates to be recommened starting maps could be Windswept, Factory, Riddler/Worldler, and Small Problems.

A few ideas I had on how to implement this would be a board, or there could be signs on top of the agreed maps saying recommened starting map. This is a suggestion from me, but I don't know what other people think about this, or if there was a reason this was removed in the current spawn. If you have any ideas on what this could look like or what maps would be on the board, then please reply to this thread.

But this is a cool idea. It'd be nice to have a couple hard maps that are super high quality like tails of shihon.

As someone whose first maps were maps from this board, I very much agree. I think it was really useful to get myself familiarised with how the server works.

I think this is a great idea! It would help newer players figure out where to start. Also, the variety could change monthly which would allow for more maps to be featured.

A permanent bulletin board of this would be cool (kinda like the Halloween one)! Or maybe instead of the map of the week one being a solo space in one of the corners it could be shared with this? I'd say it's definitely worth giving space for this in the lobby that's easy to see immediately.
