Delta survival inventory wipe upon entering the exit portal in the end

Hi,

I recently finished Hardcore, and I decided to try out Delta and play vanilla survival. After having played for a bit, I wanted to get an elytra, so I made my way to the end and raided a few end cities. However, when I went through the exit portal, I noticed my inventory and armor disappeared. My enderchest did not get wiped and still has the correct items.
I currently have the blue rank, so it's possible that this only happens to blue ranked players
