It is Easter! So where is the Open World Egghunt?
Well, in the interest of bringing you all the most polished product that we can, the Open World Egghunt will release next weekend, on April 11th. We apologize for the delay.

That being said, I have 2 announcements for content that you can engage with RIGHT NOW!

Firstly, /warp eggs3 has been created! Just like the previous year, greens can decorate eggs for usage in the open world! Go and decorate and egg, and eggs made in the next few days will find a place somewhere in the Open World Egghunt!

Secondly, to tide you over until the main attraction, you can access Speggrunning!
What is Speggrunning?

Well, at the Events Hub at spawn, you can access a brand new arena, chocked full of eggs hiding in every nook and cranny. Your job will be to find them all as fast as possible!
This arena has 171 eggs, but because this is a rather large number, you can choose whether you want to search for 50 eggs, 100 eggs, or all 171 eggs!
What's more, you can choose how many people you want to search for eggs with! Want to search by yourself? You can! Want to search as a team of twenty players? You can do that as well!
You are allowed to repeat the search multiple times to get better times.
What will your reward for completing this be?
Well, everyone that particpates will get an Eggdog Hat!
What's more, depending on how good your times are, you can level up the rarity of your Eggdog Hat, starting at Common and ending at Epic. (The details of how this will be done tbd)
I hope you enjoy this small part of the event and that is hypes you up for the Open World Egghunt, coming next weekend!
To access this part of the event, head to the Events Hub and click the Warp to Speggrunning sign.

This will be the scoring that determines what rarity of Eggdog hat you get:

Each player gets a cumulative amount of points based on how many categories they've done/what placement they've gotten.
1st in a category: 15 points
2nd in a category: 12 points
3rd in a category: 10 points
4th in a category: 8 points
5th in a category: 6 points
6th-10th in a category: 3 points
11th or lower in a category: 1 point

Placements gotten in the solo category will have their point values multiplied by 1.5x.
All players that are on a team that completes a certain category will get points as based on the above chart.

Hat rarity will be determined competitively.
Most points: Epic Eggdog Hat
2nd most - 5th most points: Heroic Eggdog Hat
6th most - 15th most points: Uncommon Eggdog Hat
16th most or lower: Common Eggdog Hat

Speggrunning will stay open until the end of May 2nd. Happy collecting!
