Every time I attempt to join the server, I find myself at a weird location, presumably below the lobby. I could move for a while, but could not interact with anything nor chat in the textbox. After about half a minute, I am kicked out of the server and the message "internal exception java.net.socketexception connection reset" is shown. Is there anyway I can fix this issue? I know this has been asked before but I am looking for a fix that does not require a vpn. I am using the official Minecraft Launcher without any mods. Thanks a lot!

This is usually the result of a not-so-great connection between you and the server. Best bet is to try and join a map with a command (e.g. /checkpoint random) immediately upon logging in. Then next time you log in, you should log in in that map instead of Spawn, which should hopefully allow you to connect.

This issue tends to resolve itself after some time, usually 30 minutes to an hour, but it will come up again sometimes. You should be able to fix it by using a VPN.

Sadly the issue still hasn't resolved itself. It's probably because I'm in Hong Kong. I tried typing in /checkpoint random after I logged in but it had completely no response. I do not have access to a vpn either. Any other fixes? I sincerely appreciate your help!

I just teleported to you and you were not at spawn, it would appear that you have a very high ping. Are you using vanilla MC?

Yes, I am using vanilla Minecraft client with completely no mods. 1.19.2 Seems like I have a high ping because I'm in Hong Kong.

I am located in Australia and have no issues, you could try connecting via a VPN perhaps?
