Wait, when did we have a Purple Comet?

Welcome to the Purple Coin Event!
Scattered around minr appears to be 100 Purple Coins lurking in the dust!
Where are they? Well Toadsworth has narrowed it down to all the parkour maps, as well as 11 other locations around minr.
When is the comet touching down? According to physics, somewhere around 14:00 UTC(0) this Thursday.
Who can join? Anyone! One of the benefits to having a Comet fly by is that everyone gets to see it!
Don't do anything other ranks can't do.

So who gets to keep the coins..?

It's a Team VS Team Takedown!

Specifics:
*This is a show to participate. You can sign up but all you have to do is be there.
*Purple Coins look like minature purple color blocks.
*Teams are random according to who is there.
*Right Clicking Purple Coins adds one to your team's score.
*Score is based off which team can find the most coins. Gain the most to win.
*Thursday is special. That's why it's being hosted then.

On a side note: Will this event run for like 24-48 hours, to give everyone participating a chance to get on and find some coins, or just for your standard 3 or 4 hours?

Standard 3-4 hours, once there is slow progress I'll help get it back into a slightly speedier pace.
One reason why it's a 3-4 hour event is because it gets really slow after the first 1-2 hours and usually isn't going to get faster.

The event was a lot of fun even though I camped out in Corrupt most of the time looking for one. Thanks so much Rman and Ricky for all of the effort and dedication you guys put into making this event happen. I can understand the annoyance of making a hiding spot for each and every coin and of course the tedious command blocks behind them. Anyways, you guys sure pulled it off well. Also, anyone who missed the event, there's still a good amount of coins hidden around in the FFA maps if you want to get in on the action, but of course the event has ended, so no prizes or anything like that.

The event went really well, at least I personally enjoyed it, I'm certain others had fun too. As for the command blocks, they were needed for each purple coin itself. Every time a purple coin was grabbed by a certain team, it was announced in the chat and a point was awarded to that persons team.

I heard Pro_Luma also had a recording of the event, although I'm not sure how that's doing. Editing the mazes and puzzles out of a nearly 3 hour video last I heard of it.
Looks like you guys enjoyed the event, willing to consider it a job well done.

^Was a truly fun 2 hours with ricky doing scriptblocks for 100 different locations.

Overall the timing was the thing I'd most wanted to change, but the weekend would've been mostly offline on my part.
