Sexual harassment is defined by Google as:
“Inappropriate behavior of a sexual nature, such as repeated sexual advances or offensive remarks, that occurs usually in a workplace, school, or other institutional setting, especially by a person in authority with respect to a subordinate or a student.”
Behavior of this sort has been observed and documented by players of all ranks toward players of all ranks. We want to make it exceptionally clear that sexual harassment of any form, regardless of the severity, is completely prohibited under any and all circumstances. No one should be making unwanted advancements toward other players, ever.
Players of all genders who would like to report sexual harassment past, present, or future are fully encouraged to do so by the entire admin team. We want you to know that we are always here to listen to and support you. We want Minr to be a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Repercussions for confirmed instances of sexual harassment will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
If we observe predatory behavior or grooming involving minors, given the permission of the victim, we will not hesitate to contact the appropriate authorities.
Though sexual harassment may be experienced by anyone, we would like our female players, in particular, to know that the female admins are a resource available to them at any time. We (myself, bstrey, and rebplane) will do our absolute best to handle any problems in a confidential manner.
