There will be downtime on Friday 26 February 2016.
The servers will go down for maintenance at 11AM CET. (10AM GMT). The scheduled time of downtime is approx. 4 hours. Things may go wrong, and significantly increase this time, but we hope to keep the downtime as short as possible.
In the time the servers are down, our team is going to update our current plugins. To make sure noone will lose any data, this will go paired with a moment of inaccessibility to the server. We do however expect that some situations will arise in the following weeks, which may require more restarts. We deeply apologise in advance for these scenarios. Updating the plugins now will give us room and time to expand on our current plugins in the upcoming 1.9 update. By making sure the things that can be updated before 1.9 hits, are updated now, we can ensure the 1.9 update will go more smoothly and faster.
As we were informed, Mojang releases 1.9 this Monday, 29 February. Considering bukkit/spigot takes a while to update aswell, we expect the 1.9 update to hit our server one month later. If you have set your minecraftlauncher profile to version: 'latest version', you will be unable to connect to our server during that time, as we would still be running 1.8. To make sure you can still connect to our server, you should make a new profile, or edit your current one to use the 1.8.x (preferably 1.8.9) update. You can do this by opening your minecraft launcher and clicking - New Profile, or Edit Profile, selecting a name and changing "Use version" to 1.8.9. Every time you wish to play on our server, you can start minecraft in the update 1.8.9 by selecting this profile, and then clicking play.
We hope the update won't take long, and we will make sure everything will be resolved. If you seem to have any trouble, bugs, glitches, problems, missing checkpoints, missing points, missing FFA-history, or anything else, please post below.
