The glazed terracotta puzzle in Stonecold is interesting, except for one thing about the answer, more specifically how the answer is input, that makes it a pain. In order to pass this puzzle, you have to throw out the unspoken rule of waiting in between button presses for combo locks that many pick up through playing older puzzle maps, and instead input the answer very quickly--all 5 buttons in very quick succession. The map doesn't in any way tell you that you have to do this, and I was stuck on this puzzle for about 30 minutes just because of it, even though I had the answer in only a couple minutes. This is terrible puzzle design, because it means players who are used to entering in combo-lock answers more slowly, as most old ones require, won't be able to solve it unless by sheer luck, even if they already know the answer itself.

I request that there either be a message telling the player that the answer needs to be put in very quickly, or the lock mechanism be replaced with a better one--one for which input speed doesn't matter.

I've seen several people complain about the lack of hints/actual sense in this puzzle, though it kind of does make sense, I do agree that the button pressing does need to be announced to the player... (Because who actually is going to press them fast out of randomness)

Thanks for the feedback. I have already heard some complaints about it and will be changing the lock to not being time limited. I will also consider adding some kind of clues. Sorry about the inconvenience.

The lock has been changed and a hint has been written down on a sign. Some extra buttons were added to ensure smooth and clear functioning of the system. I want to thank rebplane and rmanimal for helping with command blocks and scripting for it in this short time span! Please report any issues.
