[SUGGESTION] - "Tower" map type

Sep 17, 2020
I've played a game on Roblox where there was an active community building Towers (much like maps on Minr) and submitting them to the creators to maybe be added to the game. Every tower was a map where you climbed to the top, while jumping and dodging obstacles, until you finally get to the top and touch a special brick which then marks the tower as completed. What's special on these towers is the stress, as if you fall, you fall EITHER to a previous, lower obstacle OR to the very start of the tower, and the "ascension" sort of progression where you can clearly tell how much do you have to overcome.

Towers would be perfectly doable in Minecraft, and even Minr. Jumping to the top, falling hinders your progress by quite a lot, and visible progression. It would be a special type as the towers wouldn't generally have a story or a theme, rather purely focusing on just parkour.

This could make an interesting concept for a map, I suppose

There are quite a few minr maps that involve mostly climbing towers and ascending (tower parkour, color climb, etc), but I believe in more recent times builders tend to shy away from making maps like this because the maps end up feeling fairly repetitive, and failsafing or lack thereof can be done in other, more dynamic and interesting structures and methods.
