Well I was thinking of things to improve minr and I came up with two ideas:

1. Somehow allowing blues to have a checkpoint inside of HC and out, I don't know how like, but I'm sure you'd come up with a way.

2. Allowing blues to warp to old hc to complete for fun. The one that I never thought I'd say I missed. The one that started with the lava maze that I absolutely hated but would like to try again.

Basically, this one exists. Not for blue, but for green, Mimic parkour (/warp r). Let me explain why i think this isn't a good idea for blues:
First of all, you will need something to check if that special blue already finished that HC map. Also, lets have as example HC2, aquarium, You can just 'redo' HC2, while not losing your current checkpoint in HC, as long as you do not set a new one. You can guide people who haven't completed HC2 yet through the maze, making HC very easy for them. Ok, now let's say, we make it just as mimic PK, copies in the end. First of all, that would be a lot of work for the ops to copy correctly. Second, You will need a lot of new permissions which automatically update after you did a map. You might even need special warps to those parkour, which costs even more permission stuff, since ./warp might interfere with the green permissions.

In my opinion, You are better of once completing HC and becoming green, then to rearrange a lot of permissions and copy a lot of maps to let some, because i believe 60% of all blues does not want to redo some HC, they only want to continue and beat HC, blues do some HC again.

For your first point, i think there would be a lot of rearranging plugins, which may conflict with eachother, for that. I don't think that will happen, but i can't find any good reasons against it at this moment.

Minecraft's code wouldn't allow for this. The way the signs work is it sets your spawn point, as if you slept in a bed. That position is saved in your datafile located on the server. If there were two locations to spawn at, the server wouldn't know how to respond.

But it's theoretically possible. The server would have to store two different data points for you, and when you die, you'd choose your preferred spawn location.

Whether or not this'll be implemented is an admins decision, as it could be difficult to code, test, and implement.

I think that map is in the current hc.

I see no reason for blues to play other hc maps then the current hc. Unless they beat the hc-system. You can maybe see it as a reward if you become green to play almost every hc map.

If you really want to become green you don't need 2 checkpoints, there are already a lot of greens who beat the hardcore-system who proved that you don't need 2 checkpoints.

I think these things you asked are usefull for you but at least 50% of the blues will not need this.

Mmh, all of you have good points I hadn't thought about. But HC does get boring after days of being in it and its nice to have a break and do an ffa map, but some with extensive amounts of lava require checkpoints. But yeah, I understand

You can still play FFA maps, you just can't set checkpoints. That's likely not ideal, but it does give you a chance to play a few different maps rather than HC.

Either that or allow blues a direct /warp command to the ffa boat... as a special privilege inventory clear can easily be added to the boat. Thanks for your input cats.
