If you've seen the reality show Survivor (or if you haven't but have any interest in the concept), I've been wanting to run a forum game with the same general mechanics. Nothing on the server or really survival related, just pure strategy and challenges online. I have a full ruleset written out here.

If we got enough players for this, it would happen on a separate custom forum (it's near impossible to run this correctly on here) which would be open for viewing, but with posting and certain threads only available to the players. I could also make the accounts anonymous by popular request if people think that existing relationships would unbalance the game too much. The game would need a bare minimum of 7 players to run and I'd accept up to 16.

Would anyone be interested in doing this 1-2 weeks from now? I can put it on hold if people are uninterested or still burned out from Mafia, but otherwise I'll leave signups open until at least the 10th and start the game at an undetermined time after that (need to adjust the setup to the number of players). And I'll give you free op if you join.

Yeah, I'd never give special info/preference to anyone and would treat Z3 like any other contestant, but it still seems only right to ask the other players if this is okay

(I won't have time to commit to a long term game, but I am intrigued to see how this goes)

With how much lying / betrayal is a key component of survival, I lean towards anonymous players. We've also had previous instances of "meta-gaming" (Users making decisions based on the events of previous games).

Slightly tangential, there was an an oldish reality TV show that had contestants in isolation pods and didn't know who each-other were.
