I love this server and have been with it for 14 days.
It is pretty much new, has a lot of simple and nice plugins.
It has Shops,Protection,Lockette,etc.
Has an average of around 3-7 players on at a time during the week, more on the weekend.

The few players that have already joined are pretty great and friendly.
The owner (Chelsea) and moderator (Lucky) are pretty cool and will tend to whatever you need.

There currently is a building contest underway and gives you a fun chance to build with a friend in creative mode for a chance to win the "Builder" rank and other prizes.

We will be adding maybe 2 or 3 simple minigames later on for players to mess around with.
The Economy is very simple, earn money by selling things with /sell hand or in the shop, you can also kill mobs for money.

We are indeed looking for staff members, there is a chest at spawn filled with book&quills for you to write your application in.

I would be interested in just participating in the building competition, but I don't have the time anymore to have another server I frequent.

Oh Um Gee, forgot to check this post. its 1.7.10-1.8 and don't forget the port is :25566 Not :25565

Also the day you two were experiencing problems was also the day we went offline due to a host issue.

So yeah I guess give it another shot :p

EDIT: Just realized Ive had the wrong damn ip on there, try the ip again, should work.
