Hey all!
Um, Actually is a popular game show made by CollegeHumor. The point of the game revolves around a host and 3 contenders. The host recites a statement with 1 untrue fact hidden somewhere within, and contestants must correct the host with the correct information. This is done with the statement 'um, actually' followed by the correction. Contenders can interrupt the host at any time as soon as they notice a potential discrepancy in an attempt to get a point. As well, shiny questions are also an element of the gameshow appearing every 4-5 questions, bearing slightly different rules but still only rewarding one point (would suggest watching an episode of the show).
I would like to host an Um Actually competition falling likely on the weekend of May 8th-9th. mod_ern and I have been planning this for a little bit and thought it would be a lot of fun.
In anticipation for this, and ensuring that this would be a fun concept, I would like to host a practice round this Wednesday at 9pm EDT. Instead of 3 competitors as the regular show, I'd like to open it up to 4 people. If you're interested, please sign up below!
This would take place at a physical location in theta (gameshow), and also requires to be able to talk in a voice call.
Hope you enjoy!
