Uploading Forum Images?

Hi all,

Every time i try to upload an image to the forums, it gives me an error that something went wrong, and it has been giving this for about a month now. I tried deleting old uploaded things of mine, but it didnt help. Does anyone else have this problem, or am i doing something wrong?

1) Have you uploaded images before?

2) If no to question 1, are you doing it properly?

I had similar issues while setting up the first HC article, I could get the image to load up on there either. Tried .jpg, .png, and any other file formats i could think of

@Chillers and @c_dric , any idea why this is happening?

This actually happens to me too. Like Dist said, if you're using imgur, make sure it's a .jpg link. If you're using a screen share program like gyazo or lightshot it won't work.

I just upload to imgur or tinypic and post the link. I'm too lazy to deal with embedding it into the post

@c_dric Did anything change with the hosting? i'm unable to connect via ftp, seems to be folder permissions not being set to public (777) may have something to do with the backup that was restored previously.
