I was unaware of it back when I found it but now looking at it I believe that this skip should definitely be patched and the top 2 times (me and Epicfh's times) should be removed because of this skip

Not sure about this one. You're skipping about 10 seconds of gameplay but also performing a really hard skip. However, it also feels weird to go around barriers like this. Not 100% about patching this one, thoughts @rebplane?

Seems like reb is busy so we'll have to decide ourselves. What is your reason for thinking this skip should be patched? Because it checks all of the boxes of a "speedrunner's skip" for me. I guess jumping around barriers like that can be a bit unnatural, what do you think?

I suppose that's true, but doing the skip feels a bit weird just because it's going around barriers. The point of the barriers was to make it so you couldn't skip past it yet it is still possible to jump around the barriers and skip what was meant to not be skippable, that's just my perspective of this.

Hmm, yeah I'll just assume that reb would have wanted it to be patched. Removed the top 2 times as well. Thanks for reporting!
