Could someone explain specifically the difference, maybe I am being square brain but I don’t see itIs there a reason we have no checkpoints as an option? 1 life just seems to have all the pros of it but none of the cons
Server IP: zero.minr.org
Who are we?
We are one of Minecraft's oldest servers. Our map dates back over 11+ years and our server has had an uptime of 99%. We have over 600 challenges that will keep you occupied for months. All of our challenges have been developed tested and curated by our membership base who have completed our Hardcore set of challenges.
We are strongly against pay-to-win features and have been a privately funded server for the entirety of our existence, amounting to over a decade of free and fair play for our community.
You yourself could one day be creating a challenge for our server that will remain for years to come.

On a no checkpoint challenge, when you die you get sent back to the start of the map and your progress is reset. On a 1 life challenge, when you die you lose the challenge but can still continue doing the map. It's useful if you'd for example want to speedrun heartless in its no deaths challenge, because if you die once on cp8-9 you would still want to finish the run rather than be sent back to the beginning. (since knocking down a hard life challenge AND a hard speedrun at the same time is very beneficial, also just useful if you want to practice the part you failed in preparation for your next attempt)Could someone explain specifically the difference, maybe I am being square brain but I don’t see it
