Hey, every now and then when I log into forums, its covered in ads. It only happens on here, and only once in a while, so I don't think its my end. is anyone else getting this?

I suggest checking your plugins for malware. Also a quick sweep with ccleaner may help.

Try checking your computer for adware. (Viruses that don't steal information but literally cluster ads everywhere)

if you use google chrome (which i just plainly asssume), install both AdBlock(Here) and AdBlock Plus (Here) , i got the 2 together and they filter out every advertising you can imagine (even youtube advertisements)

I use adblock so I wouldn't know. I don't think the forum has any ads though, you should probably do a scan as previously suggested.

I really would suggest using Malwarebytes or CCleaner. Malware can lead to even more viruses or complete computer failure.

My computers been protected from day 1, probably just Im too lazy to open chrome and in IE

jag, even with the "best" protection, it gets on there. I'm 90% sure that at least 50% of all malware is made by the anti-malware companies to ensure they keep selling subscriptions.
