Completely agree.
Me too. My post was essentially trying to TL;DR what we always usually end up with on these threads after about seven pages and numerous admin essays worthy of university-level certification.

Of course I'm agreeing that we need to do more work even though I don't use the server anymore, ah what a contradiction I am.

I agree with both hamster and Zath. It's definite HC is, to an extent, difficult, the main reason being the lack of motivation and the few number of players that come on anymore. Zath is more than right in saying that we need to do more than advertising to boot the server to where it once was four years ago, when logging on was difficult due to too many on (which is amazing for any server tbh). We need to work together with the community we have to get this server to the public. It'll be difficult considering the amount of criticism from me and some others on the server, but if we all work together, we can give the server the full potential is was and still has.

I'm pushing this conversation even further into the traditional Minr is dying circlejerk.

The problem we have is that we are searching for new players without consolidating the playerbase we already have. There's little point advertising a server which is only occupied by the occasional greenie.

As mentioned in my original and stupidly long post, re-igniting the greenie community should be a priority as with a larger number of us on board (again I'm involving myself even though I never come on lmao) the whole process will arguably run smoother.

Of course, motivating greenies is a problem that I don't have an answer to, but the stuff that Zath suggested is a good start.

Without refreshing interest in veteran players we're stuck in an infinite loop where new players don't join because there's nobody on and old players don't join because nobody new is joining.

There is a lot to talk about, and a lot has been covered, I will throw some things out there that might not be so obvious.

-Since the transfer, we lost the loggr server that held the files to examine logs, because of this, for now they are only on the physical console, which up until today, was only accessible to me. Because of this, I have unfortunately fallen behind on the logs =[.

-A lot of this was talked about in the "HC suggestion/problem" thread, staff knows this is a problem and its being addressed as we speak.
Expect a statement about HC soon(TM)!
