*sighs* I am now starting to regret my decision on joining this vague topic....

Human nature.....I could probably look it up on the Internet but human nature tell us that we can be too lazy and not use our noggin. We are influenced by our environment and those around us. Lying, cheating, etc those are things we look at and think those are safe to do, but it isn't.

Here is a really sad fact about me

I grew up on the fact that church was the safest place to be, because there was no conflict at church

You don't know the difference between a debate and an argument. I don't say that to be mean or belittle, I'm just telling you why I'm not going to continue. I wanted to practice my debate skills, not get caught up in an argument I don't have investment in.

If that was directed towards me forgot, I do know the difference between a debate and an argument, however I was trying to correct a misconception so that the discussion could be continued without it coming down to a case of claims of contradiction where none exists.

I am sorry this has been taken as the start of an argument, as my intentions are only to make sure we are discussing the same thing.

This isn't an argument, it never was hopefully never will be. If you can't tell the difference between two people having a friendly debate (oh for Christ sake, we aren't discussing something that will change the world, we're just talking), and a tooth and nail argument, then feel free to step out of the thread for a moment and learn.
A lot of people seem to not understand the difference - in a debate, arguments will get crushed, so that new ones can be formed, that's the core point of the debate. However, in an argument you'd have people offending each other until someone steps into the room.

It's been fine so far, keep it up, I really like how this went into a large debate fast.
