With the (semi)recent inclusion of multiple challenge score leaderboards, I thought why not do the same with the speedrun score leaderboards.
They can be separated by primary map type, something like /leaderboard maps speedrun total/parkour/maze/puzzle/misc with misc including adventure, search, and dropper. I believe this would create an incentive to grind speedrun score based around a players strengths, thus making leaderboards more accessible entirely. It would also be cool to see what current high leaderboard players best maptypes are when it comes to speedrunning, with an example being pooma and their domination of search maps. Whilst amazing what he's been able to do, there isn't anything that can help us visualize his dominance in that map type. I also believe this simply adds more variety to the leaderboard system, which would be really interesting.
Another reason I think this would be a good addition would be to bring more attention to speedrunning. Currently, the standing rules have been bent by top runners, it's gotten to the point where I just don't know what to report or not. I would love to see a crackdown on skips and top times that used those skips. It's something im very passionate about and if a staff member were to take interest in this I would be more than happy to assist them.
ALSO I can't find suggestions I SWEAR there is a suggestions tab in the forums and I cannot for the love of Agatha find it
