I've just thought of something that might be an issue in the near future
You know how you have trouble unbanning someone that currently isn't using their origional username? I've just thought of something...
Couldn't one just be annoying to the server, then quickly log off and change their name before the punishment is given? The username won't apply to the normal person anymore, and the troublemaker can get off Scott Free.
I'm not saying try this (As IP banning is possible), but in the long run I think this'll be an issue.

UUIDs are a pain though when you are trying to revive someone on a hardcore server.

(You have to delete their deadplayer.dat and from the banlist, both of which are displayed as UUIDs)
