Dear most esteemed members of minr:
It has been a pleasure spending 2 years on this great server, and I will take the experiences I have had with me for the rest of my life. I have met many new friends, had many good times, and generally enjoyed myself. I wanted to give shoutouts to the oranges, the greens, the blues, the whites, and the forgots for all the great times. You were all special parts of my experience here and you are all equally important to me. To the Ops: thank you for showing outstanding dedication to this server, keeping it running powerfully and eternally. You are all represent the hard work and history of this server. To the greens: you all exhibit outstanding creativity, hard work, and personality, making this server a great place to be. Without all of you, the server would just be an empty map. To the blues: you represent the future of minr, those who have dreamed of being able to share this great map with the others. You play our game, beat HC, and show true commitment. To the whites: without you, the server would be nothing. We built the maps for you guys, we do it all for you. It always makes our day when someone in chat says "Hey, I know you! You made humungous fungus!" I truly hope all of you advance to blue and eventually green to make this server continue to run.
As for me, I have a solemn announcement to make. This is very difficult for me as this community has been such an integral part of my life over the years, and I know it will pain those close to me to read this. I will always think back to my little beach castle, back to racing on ninja warrior, back to building a giant mushroom, back to exploring the massive map and running into builds untouched for years, and most importantly, hanging out with fellow greens. You guys are all so unique, so special, and I know while minr may be a small chapter in your lives, you have touched others lives indefinitely. This is a troll.
This server is something that in all my time playing MC I have never seen anything quite like. The HC structure is brilliant, the maps are well thought out and creative, and the staff are legends who have created a masterpiece that has stood the test of time. I would like to commend c_dric for truly creating the greatest minecraft server ever seen. I would like to commend all of you for being a part of it and morphing it into a museum, a rich history, and a massive playground. I would like to commend all of you, also, for being a part of me. I have grown much throughout my time at minr, and many of you have shaped my personality, knowledge, and beliefs. I will take the lessons I learned from the elders of the community forever. So, to the announcement: my time has come. Few things have tethered me to the community over the past months, and they were composed mainly of mafia and tekkit. Now that forgot, the creator of those two has gone, I sorrowfully acknowledge they will never be the same. They may live on for a short time, but without the dedication and thoughtfulness forgot put into these projects, they will not have the same appeal. Therefore, as IRL is taking over for me too, I recognize this as a time to leave as well. Farewell, my friends, and let minr live on in your hearts forever!
