All complaints go to @blie4 , he's the person who mentioned this game and got me hyped about it.

Direct cut from the game website:
"The Talos Principle is a philosophical first-person puzzle game from Croteam, the creators of the legendary Serious Sam series, written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (The Sea Will Claim Everything). .

As if awakening from a deep sleep, you find yourself in a strange, contradictory world of ancient ruins and advanced technology. Tasked by your creator with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles, you must decide whether to have faith, or to ask the difficult questions: Who are you? What is your purpose And what are you going to do about it?"

Essentially, this is a game with puzzles similar to Portal, however the major difference is that Portal was made as a fun little arcade-goofy-humorous game, while this is philosophical and serious, which leads you to really think about somethings very deeply. Personally, I don't buy a lot of games unless they're worth it. I've played the demo of this, I've tried a pirate version for the sake of seeing what it's like beyond the demo and I'm amazed. I'll be buying it if it's on sale this Easter, if it isn't I'll still get it.

It's a great game with a great concept and I highly recommend you all try it.

I have to say, it is really expensive, especially for a Steam game. But it's a game that has honestly changed my life quite a bit, I've grown to love philosophy from it. In fact, I played it so much I 100%'d it (With minimal guides ;) ) and gotten all the endings to it. There are dozens of easter eggs, including ones about Portal (Wheatley), TONS of Serious Sam easter eggs, and even Minecraft. It's an awesome game, and I strongly recommend it to anyone who actually has the $40 to spare to try it :p. (There's also a free demo!)

Just finished the Demo, and i've got to say, that game is BEAUTIFUL! Along with some semi-easy but still challenging puzzles, this game is a really fun idea. I'm not really sure whats going on with the computers/lack of people, but I really like the concept.

And those angel statues are GOD DAMN CREEPY.

I'll play any game with a reference to that annoying little blue eye. :p

Sorry but I'm just not paying 40€/$ for a Steam game

will probably be for 1/10 the money in a sale anyways

not for me it says 39.99€

and even 20€ is much compared to what you get games for during a sale

If I remember correctly, the current exchange rate for $ to € is 1:0.88, so I would say that price seems a bit high... Especially considering how I got Streets of Sim City, Sim Isle, and Sim Copter as a 3 in 1 box when I was 10 for $12 and any one of them probably has higher play time and replayability... But then again, modern graphics work costs a LOT of money

Just because the bloke guiding you is named Elohim (hebrew for god) doesnt mean your saved by playing the game, or did I misunderstand what you meant when you said eternity?
jag...what are you even talking about?
I was referring to the fact that I finally bought the game and I'm happy I did. I never even mentioned religion, Elohim, being saved or anything of the sorts...
