Actually, it isn't.

Pyrophoric chemicals burst into flame upon contact with water, even humid air can be enough.

And I'm a chemical engineer, not a chemist :p

potassium, rubidium, and cesium, when intercalated between layers of graphite, are so pyrophoric that they can actually explode upon contact with water.

Absurd fact related to that: 2+2=3;

Let's take groupings of letters. Group 1 has D&G, two unique letters in the group. Group 2 has S&G, again two unique letters in the group. If we add these groups together to create a single group of unique letters, we get S&D&G, a group of three unique letters. Thus, 2+2=3

Fact: if you redefine a system of symbols, you can define it to mean whatever you want it to mean. Unfortunately, since anyone can do it and people do it all the time, it's not really absurd.

An easier way to understand this is by looking at a periodic table, every element in the first column (exluc. Hydrogen) is fun to throw into a lake.

LIES! Lithium hardly does anything and sodium ain't much to look at. Potassium kicks it up a notch. My chem teacher wasn't allowed to put anything higher than potassium in water for us though :/

Fact:
The US Navy has the 2nd largest air force in the world. Only bested by the US air force.
